Business Analysis, Design, & Modeling
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and subject-matter experts, internal and external, to identify, organize, and understand their business needs
Serve as a general program knowledge consultant, conferring with users (customers, who are in the FSSA Divisions) to define report requirements and data needs
Manage the expectations of customers, peers, vendors and management by establishing strategic partnerships with customers in order to help them meet their needs;
Conduct thorough research, fact-finding, and analysis of user needs and problems in order to develop and maintain efficient and useful products
Document requirements, devise new solutions, and translate into detailed specifications; this includes Business Process Mapping
Facilitate the delivery of technical business solutions to customers
Recommend and facilitate quality improvement
Prepare user requirements, functional design, physical design and other relevant design components.
Perform data modeling, as required, with goals of reducing overall development time, costs, and build a report environment that provides the best report performance possible.
Ensure reusability of data models
Conform to FSSA DTS techniques, standards, policies and procedures.
