Technical skills and Knowledge:

Primary Skills:  Power BI Lead\Architect  

Responsibilities:

• At least 8+ years of experience in Data Warehousing, with 4+ years of experience in POWER BI

• Experience in MSBI tools in preferable

• Accountable for identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability

• Liaising extensively with external or internal groups

• Accountable to effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and business partners using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.

• Creating logical and innovative solutions to complex problems

• Ensuring that quality is built in to all phases of a technical project and continuous improvement is used to incorporate knowledge acquired from previous projects

• Keeping up to date with technical as well as industry sector developments

• Drawing up specific proposals for modified or replacement systems as a result of business requirements

• Presenting proposals to various business and technical groups

• Working closely with the development, application support, testing and other groups to ensure technical compatibility and business satisfaction

• Drawing a testing schedule for the complete system

• Overseeing the implementation of a new system

• Planning and working flexibly to a deadline Requirements

• Post-Secondary education in computer related studies required, or equivalent business experience

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a software development environment

• Minimum 3 years expertise in defining software specifications

• Strong knowledge on database design and programming principles

• Excellent communication skills and networking abilities with internal and external contacts
