Requirements
5+ years of technical publications writing experience in the software industry
Experience producing admin guides, user guides, and release notes
Expertise documenting server and appliance solutions
Experience with and willingness to work within documentation standards and guidelines
Ability to quickly learn and clearly write about complex technical details
Expertise with FrameMaker, Acrobat, Flare, Dreamweaver, RoboHelp, and Word
Experience with code repository systems, such as Git
Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
Effectiveness at planning documentation deliverables, including estimation of the size and scope of the deliverables
Experience developing documentation within an agile scrum environment
Willingness and ability to learn and understand new products and technology
Additional experience in the following areas is highly desirable:
Familiarity with encryption or security-related software
Experience with Agile project management software, such as Jira
Experience writing SDK and API documentation for a developer audience
Basic graphics creation skills are desirable
Experience with Doxygen and JavaDoc
Experience creating marketing collateral such as data sheets and white papers
