Experience working in this type of environment details:
Linux environment includes: Novell SUSE 11, Novell SUSE 12, RedHat 5, RedHat 6.
The systems may contain apache Websweeper
The systems may contain one of the following databases:
DB2
Oracle
MySQL
Current BladeLogic environment is Version 8.6
Scheduling Portal is built with .NET, VBScript, IIS on a Windows 2008 platform
Linux patching to include service packs and kernel updates
Linux snapshot/backups are enabled and functional in the environment
The current Linux patching POC has developed a working prototype that is
patching Linux webservers in production
The current Linux patching prototype has connectivity established to the environment that require patching or updates
Current Linux patching levels range from SP1 to SP4. The goal is to patch the
Linux systems with SP4 where technically feasible.
