Performance Tester Analsyt
Location: Washington, DC.
Length: 6 Months Contract
PHOTO ID PROOF NEEDED
 
Possess analyzing skill for the functional and non-functional requirements.
Should have strong analytical skills and problem solving ability.
Have knowledge of best practices of software testing and understand the Software Testing Life Cycle. Should design, develop, and execute performance test cases, scripts and create performance test data aligned to the software requirements.
Perform automated load/performance testing across various applications like Web or Enterprise applications. Execute, monitor, analyze, and report performance tests.
Can work with Architecture Team, Developers, Database Administrators, Network Engineers, and support teams across locations. Perform data analysis when needed to analyze issues in Performance and/or Pre-Production environments.
Should track and communicate task progress, status, and key performance metrics.
Report defects found in testing diligently using standard defect tracking tools such as HP ALM.
Should have experience in conducting different performance tests including Load, Stress, Endurance, and Volume.
Preferable to have understanding of various front end application architectures and the tier to tier communications, performance Testing protocols including Web (HTTP/HTML), Web service , knowledge of performance testing tools such as HP Loadrunner, JMeter, etc.
Should have knowledge on monitoring performance of applications using Monitoring tools.
Should prepare functional Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Data, Requirement traceability Matrix, test results and also execute Test Cases.
