Current need:
Looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer to assist in a migration for a major application platform from Amazon Web Services to Azure. The Senior Engineer will leverage their past experience with Azure and AWS to set up the cloud infrastructure currently in AWS in a Microsoft Azure environment. The Cloud Engineer will be the customer's main automation consultant in setting up and building the customer's Azure environment, though work together with existing AWS team and platform.
Looking for a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer to assist in a migration for a major application platform from Amazon Web Services to Azure. The Senior Engineer will leverage their past experience with Azure and AWS to set up the cloud infrastructure currently in AWS in a Microsoft Azure environment. The Cloud Engineer will be the customer's main automation consultant in setting up and building the customer's Azure environment, though work together with existing AWS team and platform.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on deployment of applications to Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure. He/She will also have experience developing normalization and automation scripts using a scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Perl and/or PowerShell, while utilizing Chef and Terraform.
The skills required are:
Chef (chef provisioning)
Terraform – Experienced, and skilled.
AWS – Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure, Networking in AWS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.
Scripting (Python/Ruby)
Monitoring & Splunk (Nagios/Sensu)
Azure – Deep Knowledge of Azure, ARM
Chef (chef provisioning)
Terraform – Experienced, and skilled.
