Responsibilities and Experience:
Maintain and manage critical core business servers within the organization.
Generate scripts to perform system administration activities
Provide support for on-call duties
7+ years managing and maintaining physical/virtual AIX operating systems; RHEL Linux and Vmware Enterprise Edition is a plus
7+ years with architecture, design and enhancements
7+ years with creating and maintaining associated server and application projects from start to end
7+ years in generating or modifying scripts in Shell, KornShell, Perl, C++ or similar languages
3+ years in maintaining and managing Tivioli Storage Manager
5+ years in multipathing configuration within Linux or AIX

Must have IBM AIX Operating Systems
Must be able to scripting in Shell, KornShell, Perl, C++ or like languages
Must be able to provide detail performance analysis within the server and components beyond the servers such as the network and SAN storage connectivity that is attached
Must be proficient with SAN storage connectivity and multi pathing configuration/methodologies
Proficient on generating graphs using tools such as Excel or generating diagrams
Extensive knowledge on design and connectivity between the servers with various applications
Be able to install and maintain hardware within the datacenter; lifting, racking or moving equipment is required
Proficient to generate projects from start to end with minimal guidance from management
College diploma or University degree in computer science or 5 years plus experience in the related field
