Job Description:
This resource will be our Senior Claims Business Analyst, and the lead translational expert on Claims and Revenue Cycle system data
This resource will be our Senior Claims Business Analyst, and the lead translational expert on Claims and Revenue Cycle system data
Skills/experience that are most important are:
Experience working with claims data (including but not limited to Preadjudicated, Post-Adjudicated Claims, CMS Claims and Claims Line Feed (CCLF) files)
Experience in working in with Revenue Cycle System or Practice Management systems from the health care system perspective is a requirement (not from the payer side).
Experience needs to be preferably from the provider side (not the Payor side)
Experience with Institutional and Professional Billing
Must demonstrate knowledge of healthcare workflows and how it impacts the revenue cycle or practice management systems
Clarity of Thought and Excellence in Communication.
Ability to compose functional requirement documents and summarize them for the analytics and engineering teams.
Self-directed, self-starter: a person with initiative and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
The Business Analyst is accountable for writing functional requirements for the data integration team across multiple subject areas. The person filling this position should have a strong understanding of healthcare data across a spectrum including strong knowledge in the billing, claims and GL domain
