Rate : $40/hr on C2C Max
The Software Developer will be responsible for providing expertise and support in the development, deployments, and support of new features to Windows based systems using Objected-Oriented PHP and MySQL as primary languages.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Custom application development using Object-Orientated PHP and MySQL
Review & test website code to uncover & repair any issues that would affect site performance
Maintain and add backend functionality
Produce clean and performant code that is built to scale and last
Conduct unit tests, deployments, and ensure version control
Review server configurations/Monitor server performance; report & repair any issues
Recommend & implement server upgrades, as well as necessary site security and safety measures
Documentation of system as required
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & CERTIFICATIONS:
BS and 2+ years of experience, or Associate Degree with a 4+ years of experience in software development (thereof 2 years with PHP experience )
Strong background in Object-Oriented PHP, MySQL, Apache and JavaScript/jQuery
Apache webserver knowledge
Good knowledge of frameworks, Object-relational mappers and version control tools
Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies such as: HTML, CSS, Javascript, jquery, dhtmlx
Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing/consuming web services
Ability to write clean, well-designed code and produce detailed specifications
