Linux System Administrator
Location: NYC, NY
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract
Local to NY Only - $45-$48/hr Max
2-5 years of Linux Production systems administration, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Experience with 3-tier application topologies
Experience with automation/mass deployment solutions required – Kickstart, Foreman, Puppet, etc.
Strong scripting skills (Python & Bash)
Experience managing Active Directory and LDAP integrations
Thorough understanding of system and network security best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Must be comfortable working with others in a dynamic, open setting
Strong analytical skills.
Third party messaging application experience (Sonic JMS, IBM Websphere MQ, etc) a plus
Server hardware (Cisco UCS) experience a plus
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware)
