Project Summary:
We are rewriting an application built that allows our sales users to remotely enter orders on their laptop. Our Independent National Account Team has around 60 sales users that enter sales orders for our customers using this application. The users often enter orders in remote locations or at trade shows with little to no internet connectivity. We will start in the Autumn and be finished in Spring in preparation for our next selling period.

Position Summary:
We'll be using an application framework called Electron (http://electron.atom.io/) to build a Microsoft Windows application using HTML, CSS and JS. You will be uploading the raw information to a CouchDB database regularly and utilize PouchDB on the application (client) side to keep the data offline. The frontend will be using AngularJS as a MVC framework.

Requirements:
Build a scalable, desktop web application
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience with web applications
Experience with AngularJS, CouchDB, the Google Cloud Platform and/or Electron is desired, but not required
Common knowledge of best practices of Security standards, including user authentication and authorization.
A good sense of visual design
Experience with Object Oriented programming and debugging
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Develop clear documentation for collaborative support
