Job Summary:

As Testing Transition Manager you are responsible for the service transition activities related to firm's infrastructure and application solution initiatives. This position requires an ability to assess the transition scope and characteristics of each project and to construct and execute a transition plan that is appropriate for the transition scope.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Builds transition plans including infrastructure/application support models, IT change management, learning & communication deliverables

Responsible for planning and overseeing the transfer of key information necessary for the support, operation and acceptance of solutions deployed into production. This includes operational readiness, support documentation and acceptance checklists.

Builds effective working relationships with assigned IT Services Project teams

Looks for additional (out-of-scope) scope and impact

Comfortable leading discussions around support models and required deliverables.

Executes the Transition & Deployment processes and associated best practices on each initiative

Leverages the appropriate enabling tools

Contributes to improving the transition processes by identifying opportunities for enhancement

Builds effective relationships with relevant IT Services personnel

Follows budget guidance

Tasks:

Managing the transition to the new SAP Service Provider in collaboration with the supplier, the IT and SAP teams

Performing risk and escalation management during the transition

Implementing regular processes like the report process of SLA/KPI's and demand management process between the internal SAP organization and the service provider

Assuring compliance with internal validation and compliance requirements

Identifying areas for improvement concerning the cooperation with the supplier as well as support and business processes
