Qualifications:
Five or more years as a hands-on technologist with a good mix of application development and database development.
Experience with Oracle replication/materialized views and data migration.
Must be highly productive and flexible self-starter with solid Oracle development and data modelling skills for OLTP systems
Disciplined in change management.
Ability to write documentation and requirements.
Outside of the box thinking to come up with new solutions.
Data warehousing knowledge is a plus.
Strong in SQL and PL/SQL development in an Oracle 10G/11G UNIX-based environment.
3+ years of UNIX shell scripting experience.
Demonstrated experience in database performance and tuning.
Must have excellent proven analysis, design and development skills built on top of five plus years in data intensive applications.
Must be willing to roll up sleeves to do the research necessary to define data and application requirements.
Will be expected to support production activities which would require some availability during non-business hours.
Must have demonstrated experience in working with other database and application developers to define application architecture.
Must be familiar and stay current with industry best practices and trends related to data ingestion and database design/development.
Must have experience in a variety of data delivery methodologies and best practices (i.e., ingestion of large amounts of data)
Must be willing and able to support application/database development throughout the software lifecycle from requirements analysis and design through to implementation and maintenance.
Python experience is preferred.
Agile experience desired.
