Summary:
To assist with supporting existing VMware (ESX 5.5) environment. To assist with all activities around the migration of workloads running on VMWare to Hyper-V. This will include planning, testing, implementation and execution of the virtualization workload migration project. To provide support into any issues that arise with the existing VMWare infrastructure.
Requirements:
VMware experienced (ESX 5.5, vShpere, VCOPS)
Basic Hyper-V familiarity (Existing team will provide HV training if required)
Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Server a plus
Basic networking skills
Operational experience working in IT infrastructure
Experience providing IT support
Assist in daily operations, troubleshooting, monitoring and support of existing VMware and Hyper-V cloud environments.
Assist in the planning, testing and implementation of VMware to Hyper-V migration.
