Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in large-scale software development
4 to 5 years of experience with data analytics and high volume data processing
4 to 5+ years of Hands-on development experience with Hadoop and tools such as Hive, Sqoop, Pig, Impala, Parkour, Kafka, and Spark
Hands on experience on Core Java in Linux environment.
Excellent scripting skills in one or more (Java Script, Shell, Python etc.)
Proven demonstrated expertise with data exploration tools such as SQL and MapReduce.
Strong experience with SQL and Relational databases
Familiarity with a variety of data formats and protocols such as JSON, AVRO, RC
Experience with performance/scalability tuning, algorithms and computational complexity
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with NOSQL technologies such as HBase and Cassandra is preferred
Nice to Have:
Cloudera certification
Experience with Machine Learning algorithms
Statistical analysis with R, Python or similar
Experience with NoSQL & Columnar Databases technologies such as Cassandra, Redshift/Hbase
Experience with messaging & Complex event processing systems such as Kafka, Storm and Spark
