The person should have sound knowledge of US healthcare domain and specifically in HL7 specifications. The detailed responsibilities & qualifications are given below.

Sr. Business Analyst – HL7
Rapidly changing regulatory environments are facts of life in today's healthcare and health insurance market entities.   We are currently looking for a Sr. Business Analyst for a project to design the Clinical Document Repository (CDR), based on HL7 2.x, HL7 3 standards. This role will be required to work with the client business and technical teams.

Responsibilities will include
Business process design, business requirements development, training development, and functional testing
Interface directly with client across all scopes, and document business requirements
Research standards/regulations  to be able to guide the team to design solution
Analysis of HL7 Continuity Care Document (CCD) to be able to map to other standards such as the HL7 2.x , Claims and other standards.
Well versed with the understanding of the impact of standards (HIPAA, HL7, Code sets etc.) and regulations (ACA other) on healthcare entities.

Required Qualification
6-8 years of relevant Healthcare experience as in business/technical/systems analysis
in Provider/ Payor industry (Mandatory)
6 years working experience in HL7 v3 (Mandatory)
Certified HL7 2.x or Hl7 3.0 (Prefered)
Operational or functional understanding of claims process, provider, enrollment, premium billing benefit plan and EDI-HIPPA Transactions (Preferred)
Working knowledge of the Affordable Care Act/Health Insurance Exchange/Health Information exchanges(Preferred)
3 Years working experience of working on Hl7 v2.x (Preferred).
