Must have:
Background 5+ years working directly with Teradata
ETL Experience SAS, Korn shell SQL ETL is used today- the ability to read and take on other peoples code is important and provide feedback and troubleshooting. 5+ years
Heavy scripting in Korn Shell Scripting 2+ years
Heavy SQL Query development for ETL and Semantic structures
Troubleshooting including re-writes; performance reviews and diagnostics in SQL, SAS and KSH scripts.
UNIX /Linux platform background 4+ years
Base SAS Programming, development background 5+ years
Production Support experience able to react quickly at early hours (midnight to 7am)
Willingness to work production support, could be for production, dev or UAT loads including weekend monitoring and updates Sat, Sun mornings as needed (once every 4 to 5 weeks)
Database background for SQL queries, in standard DB platforms that could include SQL, Oracle, DB2 5+ years
Grasp and comfortable with complex systems and the ability to multi-task as needed.
Able to take on complex programs and work within code patterns for dynamic code base.
Teradata ETL Tools/methods:
BTEQ, Fastload, MultiLoad, etc.
