In the first moment:

You can built Hotels, Spas, Condominiums, Rentals, Marina, Water Park,
Amusement Park, time of approval of projects 12 to 18 months.
Lisbon has a few thousand inhabitants, in the end the weekend most of
them, left towards the south and north.
Lisbon hasn´t a water park for residents and visitors.

For the remaining 1170 Hectares: 1.170000m2:

They should be projects with high quality, Nature Tourism, Ecotourism
and Rural Tourism, more and more such projects are accepted around the
world.
These projects can be classified as a P.I.N. (National Interest
Project), due to its public and economic interests, and the jobs that
will create.
In such a project, there is Local and Central Government support.

Medicinal Water Mouchão da Povoa Island:

The island has a medicinal water pool, thermal water, this water was
sold in pharmacies, and exported to all over the world for the
treatment of sinusitis and skin diseases, and has also excellent
results in treating diseases of the stomach and intestines,
inflammation in the eyes, mouth, throat and great for regular
intestines (laxative). This water, is still known around the world.

Note: There is an article that dates back to 1918
Written in a Portuguese Official Newspaper, called "Capital" that
exalts the medicinal qualities of water Mouchão Island, as being
unique in the country.

Number of visits on the Net Over 29 million:

It is the only source of medicinal thermal water, which exists in
Lisbon.
A major plus for the island, the commercial exploration of water, and
construction of a spa resort, 3 km from the Expo, by sea.

Energy Production:

Photovoltaics on the island, the island is able to produce many kWh.
The connection of the station can be done, by Santa Iria da Azóia
network.

Horse Breeding:

To market and riding schools.

Sailing Club:

School of Fisheries and Sail.

Nurseries Fish:

The water is fit for the creation of almost all species of fish
the island is able to produce many tons of fish per month.

Birds:

The island and the Tagus estuary is known worldwide, the number of
visits recorded in the Net, exceeds 800 million.
They spend a year on the island and the Tagus estuary, more than
120,000 migratory birds coming from Africa and Northern Europe in the
future are some of these people who come to know the island and enjoy
the facilities that can be offer.

Note:
The prosecutor, in addition to monetize the island can still get many
million grants for nature conservation, tourism support agriculture,
alternative energy sources.
Through the found W.W.F. and other national and international founds,
which are available for this type of project.
